Lactation Support

"The Lactation Doula"

Much like parenthood, you may not know how your

breastfeeding experience will go. Studies have shown that

insufficent breastfeeding support is one of the main reasons

many moms discontinue breastfeeding even though they may

not have wanted to.

The concept of a Lactation Doula is something that I have developed to highlight that consistent and continual breastfeeding support is so vital to every mothers breastfeeding experience. It is not a one time visit, its an ongoing relationship. I will help you reach your breastfeeding goals with

continual breastfeeding support for the first 6 weeks of your newborns life.

Lactation Doula Support Package Includes:

  • 3 Lactation Visits

  • Hospital Visit after Birth (First Latch, 48hr Game Plan)

  • Welcome Home Visit (Weight Gain, Breast Issues, Goals)

  • Back-to-Work/ Long Term Goals Visit

  • 24hr Phone/Text/Email Follow-up Support for 6 Weeks

  • Written report of breastfeeding progress and referral if additional support is needed

On Demand Lactation Support:

You may find that you run into some breastfeeding problems when your new little one arrives. This is not uncommon, breastfeeding is challenging! I do my best to arrange an in-person lactation consultation within 48 hours from your first contact with me. I apply the same Lactation Doula concept with follow-up communication and support!
